Update 3.10
Something I appreciated very much this week was our class on the New Jerusalem.
The New Jerusalem is God’s building and we are the material for this building. However, to be built, we need to undergo a transformation work.
Firstly, we need to be transformed now. Transformation may not always be such a pleasant process, as it requires heat and pressure. But we have to be encouraged to be willing to be under the heat and pressure now to be transformed, otherwise we will have to endure the 1000x intensified pressure at the end of the age.
Secondly, the New Jerusalem has a golden street. That the street is golden signifies God’s divine nature. Along this street is the tree of life and the river of water of life. We need to stay, walking on this golden street, walking with the divine nature of God. As we go through the heat and pressure for our transformation, we must not forget to breathe, to drink, and to eat the Lord. This is the way to go on in our Chrsitian life.
Thirdly, transformation takes time. Every day, we need to come to touch the Lord. As we take Him as our life and life supply day by day, we are transformed.
Lord, keep working that I would be transformed now! I would be willing to submit to Your transformation work!
